“Tradition Sailing Toward the Future”
This program is much more than a carpentry workshop; it's a bet on the future of our island. By rescuing an ancestral trade, young people ages 15 to 22 not only preserve our maritime culture but also open up a real career path for themselves. To support their full development, we provide a complete, balanced diet on every class day.

Module I: Fundamentals and Design
An introduction to handling tools and basic techniques, culminating in scale cardboard models to understand naval structure.
Module II: Wood Specialization
Development of advanced skills, applying technical processes to build scale wooden vessels.
Module III: Applied Construction
The final stage, where participants build a conventional 4-meter piragua, applying everything they've learned to complete a work that represents their own progress.
Module IV: Principles of Sailing Navigation
An introduction to handling tools and basic techniques, culminating in scale cardboard models to understand naval structure.
