“Fashion with Purpose and Transformation”
El Baúl Solidario is our circular-economy initiative that turns community solidarity into a social opportunity. More than a shop, we're a creative hub where clothes and goods get a second chance.
Thanks to our permanent textile-transformation workshop, we recycle, redesign and reinvent garments. We also teach sewing and tailoring courses, offer repair services, and accept donations of all kinds of goods — keeping useful things out of the landfill and giving new life to what others consider forgotten.
Allies from the start
The project was born with the essential support of Colegio Guayamurí. Its students not only lead the collection of garments, but also organize a fashion show every December where they model the selected pieces. When the event ends, the young people keep the garments they modeled, while every dollar raised goes entirely to Colegio María Luisa Tubores Coello de Fe y Alegría in Juan Griego.
Sustained Growth
Today, thanks to the commitment and trust earned over time, our capacity has grown significantly. We receive steady donations from a range of organizations and individuals who have made El Baúl Solidario a reference point for solidarity and sustainability on the island.
