A visit to the Marine Museum with the Shipwright Carpentry School

We travelled to the Fernando Cervigón Marine Museum of Margarita, in Boca de Río. The visit is part of our young people's wider training.

At the Museum's invitation, our scholarship students got to explore the Shipwright Carpentry hall, where each of them was given a copy of Professor Cervigón's book «Carpintería de Barcos en la Isla de Margarita». Our teacher, of course, walked us through the whole hall himself.

Our enormous thanks to María, our unbeatable guide, and to all the Museum staff for looking after us. And thank you to everyone who has supported this project and is making this dream real for our young people, giving them the chance to learn an art, a trade and a purpose in life.
